I am excited to announce a great addition to our Go-To-Market team. Brooke Motta has joined Wallarm as Vice President of Sales. Brooke brings 15 years of Cyber Security Sales Experience to the team. She has experience selling up and down the organization from an individual security engineer to a CISO. Many of the products she sold had the same product composition as Wallarm offering. Prior to joining Wallarm, Brooke was the Vice President of Global Sales at Bugcrowd where she drove impressive growth, oversaw worldwide sales, sales engineering, account management, channel and BD. Previously, Brooke worked at Rapid7 for 9 years and has been in various senior sales leadership roles with ObserveIT and ThousandEyes.


When we raised our series A round, one of our stated goals was to put more emphasis on building a repeatable sales process, continued revenue growth in North Americas and building the sales and services team that can land the biggest accounts in e-commerce, FinTech, SaaS and other industries. With Brooke at the helm of the sales team, we can do just that.

To further strengthen our go-to-market motion, we have also recruited prominent sales executives to help shape Wallarm sales strategy and build the team.

Lori Harmon has joined Wallarm advisory board a few weeks ago. Lori Harmon is a high-tech sales executive, author of the book 42 Rules for Building a High Velocity Inside Sales Team and a sales acceleration expert. Currently, Lori is the Vice President of Global Inside Sales for BlackBerry’s mobile security software Division. Prior to Blackberry, Lori held a number of executive sales leadership positions at high tech companies such as Contrast Security, VeriSign, Melbourne IT, Interwoven, and others.

Another recent addition to our advisory board is Riccardo Di Blasio.

Riccardo is a former SVP Sales at EMC Corporation and SVP Sales and Marketing at VMware for company cloud division. Also COO of Cohesity and CEO of GTI, Inc. Currently Global head of sales for VMware cloud solutions at DXC Technology. Riccardo is also an active member of NASA iTech program, and a serial investor in several bay area companies like Sysdig Cloud, Nebia, Mobile Iron, Next Future Mobility and many others.

“Between the customers they already have and how attuned the technology is to cloud-native applications, Wallarm is well-poised to grow into a leading company in the web and API security space,” said Riccardo.

Brooke adds: “In 2019 we will rapidly increase the customer base as well as bring on talented employees to drive growth. It won’t be long before we are hitting a $20M ARR mark.”
